Baby Step Ministries is not a direct service provider. We help unmarried pregnant women and their babies by receiving all things baby except stuff toys. It can be new or used they just have to be clean and nearly new.
Diapers, Baby Wipes, Formula and baby food. We receive all things baby except stuff toys, if used must be clean and gently used.
Baby Step Ministries partners with COMPASS of Richmond Hill, Rincon, Savannah Pregnancy Resource Care Centers, Living Vine, Coastal Coalition for Children, Inc, Lighthouse at Compassion Christian Church, Shelter From the Rain, Coastal Pregnancy Care Center, Trinity Lutheran Homeless Ministry and True Vine World Harvest Ministries to help provide anything baby new or used (except stuff toys) and maternity clothes for pregnant women in need. We do this through donations, fundraisers and Drop Off Donation Days.
Our ministry is a nonprofit organization, we are not a direct service provider. We want to have a heart for meeting the needs of these precious babies and their mothers by reaching out to organizations and individuals to raise awareness that will offer a way to help lift mothers and babies above their circumstances. Our hope is that through this support, women will be better prepared during and after childbirth resulting in a positive outcome.
Even though we have been down during this time. I have been busy with the up and coming seminar Baby Wipes and God that will be held July 25th. Of course, that is if we are release to be back out in the public and can meet at our churches.
I have just read in the Rincon Pregnancy Care letter, where more women are seeking an abortion at this time of crisis at the Savannah abortion clinic. Please pray with me that these women will have a change of heart and seek a pregnancy center to help them through this difficult time.
We our continuing not picking up or delivering at this time. Thanks to everyone for all you do.
Thinking about Easter yesterday made me realize as I pray for the unmarried pregnant women, the battered women, the homeless women and their babies, that if they would put their trust in the Risen Lord, He will help them to rise above their circumstances. Although I am sad at the thought that our Savior had to die for our sins I rejoice in prayer that those that are living through this time of Covid 19 to hopefully put their trust in Jesus Christ and allow Him to help them with their circumstances.
A heart felt thanks to Trinity Lutheran Church of Savannah for the baby wipes they collected for our ministry in the month of March even though the event was cut short due to the virus. Thanks again!!!!
Drop Off Donation Day will be discontinued until we are able to once again have them.
Now we're in need of size 6 diapers and a crib that was made after 2011. If you have them contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
